Attention!

Attention citizens of the universe I will be taking a leave of absence. I need time to be alone and break away from society…as much as possible. I just need time to think. Farewell.

Peony

Taste of Japan

The Peony flower is among the longest-used flowers in ornamental culture. It is a traditional floral symbol of China, where it is called (mu-dan). In 1903, the Qing Dynasty declared the peony as the national flower.

Peonies have been cultivated in Asia for more than a thousand years. Requiring such careful cultivation, they were flowers that only the rich could afford to grow in Japan. Therefore the peony symbolizes prosperity for the Japanese.

Finally!!!

I have done it. I have finally done it. First semester of AP US History is complete. However one part of the journey is over, but another begins. It is time to start second semester. I have to complete 14 chapters by the 27th of July. It’s killing me…but it is so worth it. I love history and I love getting as many credits as I possibly can, and having a ridiculous high GPA. It’s weird I know, but I’m nerdy and I know it.

Funeral

As I prepare for the home going celebration for one of New Life Worship Centre’s (my church) very own, can’t help but think how precious the life of a human being is even more than I though before. I was always told that tomorrow is never promised, and I came to believe that. I learned that in this life you have to make the best of it because you never know when it will be all over. So cherish the moments you have left on this earth. Spend time with someone special. Speak to someone you haven’t spoken to in years. Forgive your enemies, and make new friends. Help someone in need. Don’t take for granted the life that you have. Lastly, go out and have fun. Make memories, and leave a story behind so that when you’re gone you won’t be forgotten.

Dude, where’s my president?

I hope that Egypt gets a better government soon and that the people of Egypt find peace. They need a good leader and government that is not corrupt, where the people are treated fairly. I just pray the violence dies down soon.

‘Am I not destroying my …

‘Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?’- Abraham Lincoln.

However he seemed to destroy most of his enemies with an ax. Hahaha.
